Haven't used the Long Glaive yet but I think I'll like it for the flexibility of using as a lance one handed with a shield in the other. I've been using the Glaive like that and got lucky in a few battles charging far ahead of my line with my shield raised against projectiles hunting the enemy commander and disrupting their formation.Long Glaive vs Rhomphalia. Because both are generally infantry weapons, not designed for cavalry charges which a lance specifically is. I'd suggest you be prepared for a lot of "nerfs" like this as the devs go through and make things more varied and unique and less copy/paste jobs.
