Demilling

Due to the demilling process, kits will contain parts from mixed British and Pakistani countries of origin. These parts kits are demilled with an acetylene torch that causes a light brown oxidation to form near the cuts. The brown oxidation is easily wiped away with gun/metal cleaning fluid/oil. Kit does NOT include receiver or barrel.

Apr 14, 2009 · Almost done demilling/disassembling my 1967 Romanian kit. 'Almost', is the key word here. No problem with the trigger guard, or any of the other rivets. Got to the barrel pin, gave it a few good whacks with a sledge hammer and punch, it never budged. Only took a few swings for me to realize it was not coming out using. A government process used to “demilitarize” or destroy rifles by cutting the receiver and barrel in half.
