We've cruised to St. Lucia before and decided to avoid the cabs and pressure by walking to Vigi beach, across the runway from the cruise terminal. The walk was relatively short (~1.5m) on sidewalk through a relatively busy section of road. Never felt exposed or uncomfortable as tourists. Vigie Beach is a 6-minute walk from the resort. The nearest airport is George F. L. Charles Airport, 2.5 miles from Sandals Halcyon Beach All Inclusive - Couples Only.
